I have always loved the original recipe and altered it myself (I'm vegetarian). Personally, I just buy a packet of crispy onions and that saves me making the breadcrumb section. It's also so delicious as veggie if you use regular dairy products in it.

substituted the chilli paste as couldn't get any local but some chipotle paste gave it a bit of a bang. look forward to getting my hands on some gochujang ready for next time.
the panko really does bring the whole thing together 👌🏼
would have been good to know the about the lime zest earlier on though...had to fish the peels out of my compost caddy 💀🤣
