What is Mob?
We’re a food media platform dishing up tips and recipes for meals that are way tastier than they should be for how easy and affordable they are. We're not about fancy garnishes or decorative swirls or smears of sauce. We're about food you'll actually cook.
We’re here to help students and young professionals get more comfortable in the kitchen and make quality meals along the way. Our mission is to inspire and educate our audience through diverse and high-quality content, connecting the youth through what we love (and know) the most: food.
Mob started out as an idea. At uni, founder, Ben, noticed that none of his friends were really cooking. Armed with nothing but a kitchen, a camera, and some recipe ideas, he started creating overhead videos that people could actually cook – straying away from the food porn that was all over social media at the time. Ever since, the company has earned a loyal and ever-growing following – the Mob.
With four Amazon bestselling cookbooks already in the bag, we’re always on the lookout for ways to provide the Mob with the freshest recipes possible.
The Mob Truck
The success of the books demonstrated the Mob’s desire to interact with the brand, not just online, but physically, too. The new Mob Truck has taken this a step further – allowing the team to travel around the country visiting universities, festivals and much more…
