Unfortunately this didn't go down well with kids - too salty and the meatball texture wasnt very nice.

Strong flavoured sauce, a bit much for the kids. not sure the cornflour is needed as a bit gloopy. Enough sugar to reduce it without.

Just bland, the ingredients list is all over the place with quantities (both common criticisms we've had with mob recipes so far)

hello, do I use dark or light soy for the meatballs?

I used light, I think dark would be a bit heavy

Yum! This is a winner! Flavourful and hearty without being heavy. I stir fried the broccoli with zucchini, bok choy, garlic and a bit of sesame oil and salt just to bulk out the veg component. Happy tummy!

Added more meat and breadcrumbs so the balls were more toddler friendly. Great recipe will be making again.

This was nice, and very easy and made 4 portions. As Christine suggested, I doubled the sauce. I’d use fresh ginger next time though, for more flavour.

Really enjoyed this. 30 minutes from start to finish, will enter the weekly rotation! I'd suggest doubling the sauce so that you have enough for the rice as well, otherwise it's only enough to lightly coat the meatballs.
