Yummie, threw some fish sauce, sesame oil and mirin in there for s***s and giggles. Really hearty and filling. Would make again.

Made this with beef mince and egg noodles as that’s what I had in, really enjoyed the sauce. I thought it would be too much chilli oil but it worked perfectly!

Wow wow wow! This recipe was a 10/10. Everyone from the children to granddad loved it. I did use my instinct and halved the amount of noodles needed for the dish, which turned out to be correct. The sauce and seasonings made it absolutely delicious and it's so simple as well! This will become a staple in our house. It also offers up all sorts of variations to be made with different vegetables etc.

I love love love this recipe as do all my family. As another commentator has already mentioned, pack amounts don't always match the recipe amounts but I tend to use what's available and just divide what I make into reasonable portions. I also switch my veg up depending on what I've got in my fridge (mushrooms, grated carrots, edamame beans), actually I do that with the protein too (chicken, turkey and pork all work too). It's really versatile and tasty. Definitely a staple for me now.
Oh and if you're using straight to wok noodles - soak them in hot water for about 5min. It loosens them up and makes it so much easier when adding yo the pan and coating in all that lovely sauce!

Great recipe - there's no timings and pack sizes don't match up perfectly with the measurements so you need to use common sense but I do 450g of mince and noodles and roast a tonne of broccoli to bulk it up.
