Add one teaspoon of soft brown sugar to your glass along with two dashes of Angostura bitters.
Muddle them together until it forms a paste at the bottom.
Cut a slice of the rind of an orange to use as garnish and another slice to rub around the rim for aromatics.
Place a large ice cube in the glass then add your double measure of whiskey.
Stir the drink for 1-2 mins, then add your orange garnish.
Stir for a further minute and a half then enjoy.
