This is way too watery!! Doesn’t look like the photo at all - we left it to reduce for more than double the time but still so much liquid that wasn’t thick in the slightest.

Tasty!! And easy! Added some mushrooms too, next time will add some more different veggies, maybe green beans etc. Left it to simmer for nearer 2 hours to thicken. 👌🏻

absolutely delicious, only thing I would say is it’s bigger portions than we expected- not a bad thing! just good to know for the future

Really liked this. I used the Bart chipotle paste and it added so much flavour. Also added chorizo and served with a simple salsa which worked a dream!

it’s juicy and spicy but could do with a bit less water. Feels like it’s missing something but can’t tell what!

Very delicious, but 12 thighs for 6 portions was way too much so I only made 6 thighs. The water to chicken ratio was too much and it ended up watery (still tasty though). Now will cook some rice in the liquid for chipotle rice

Hi Sharmila! Thanks for giving this one a go, glad to hear you thought it was tasty. If you're left with a bit more liquid than you'd like at the end of the 25 mins in step 3 then you can absolutely leave it going for a bit longer to thicken!

This was delicious and definitely worth the time it takes to make, have portions of it in the freezer and can’t wait to eat it again soon!!

Very tasty. However, if using Gran Luchito chipotle paste, reduce the amount unless you like it high on spice

wish I saw this before. I was so confident with the massive forkful I shoved in my mouth. It actually made me cry painful tears!

Love this. Went with 2 teaspoons of the chipotle paste and 2 extra tablespoons of tomato paste as we are a bit of a whimp on spice.

does anyone have an alternative for chipotle paste? I don’t think they have it at my local super market

What could I add instead of chipotle paste so that it’s suitable for my child too?

Super tasty and spicy! I simmered the sauce for longer, about half an hour to thicken up. It was defo worth the wait :) defo having again!!
