Tasty!! And easy! Added some mushrooms too, next time will add some more different veggies, maybe green beans etc. Left it to simmer for nearer 2 hours to thicken. 👌🏻

Absolutely delicious. I added a red chilli for a bit more heat, reduced the sauce a bit at the end and then served it with brown rice, pickled red onions and guacamole. It's going to be a regular dinner.

i was mildly terrified but morbidly curious to try this recipe given that this is a UK company. it’s pretty straightforward and wasn’t too spicy. we turned it into tostadas, tacos, and enchiladas over the week. for the folks adding beans early on, maybe save the beans to stretch it with extra stock and add corn or summer squash and turn into to tortilla soup, serve with cheese and sour cream and tortilla chips.

Hey Bella! Yes this great for freezing, simply leave to return to room temp, box up and store in the freezer for up to 3 months x

This was sooo good! We used chicken breast instead of thighs. I added about 400 ml of water, but next time I’ll probably use around 300 ml or take the chicken out and let the sauce thicken a bit more before shredding. Also added black beans, delicious!

Loveeee this recipe. Subbed in harissa for the chipotle paste and let the peppers get a bit charred in the pan for smokeyness + used home made broth which made it 10/10 but defo cook until the thickness is right for you. Mine took about 45-1hr because I wanted to use more broth than suggested

Delicious, like other comments suggest I definitely recommend either cooking for longer (better flavour & texture!) or reducing the amount of liquid 😊 I also added a tin of black beans towards the end!

On regular rotation in my house! I always add more veg - mushrooms, sweetcorn and black beans (the beans help it thicken faster

Adding a good tablespoon of dark soya sauce to this dish really adds some depth! Reallu nice recipe though with lots of variations available in terms of adding in beans etc. and mushrooms etc. very flavoursome!

very tasty and easy, i didnt add as much water as others suggested, my chipotle paste was really spicy, so i added a bit less it would have been too much otherwise, love all the options you can do with this 🥳

swapped out thighs for breasts thanks to online shopping substitution, but worked a treat when mixed with rigatoni! 400ml of stock used instead of 500ml and it works a treat!

Great with a few tweaks! Used just enough stock to cover the chicken, then simmered for about an hour longer than instructed. Flavour is a little flat so added the zest and juice of 1 lime at the end and it really brought it to life!

absolutely delicious, only thing I would say is it’s bigger portions than we expected- not a bad thing! just good to know for the future

Really liked this. I used the Bart chipotle paste and it added so much flavour. Also added chorizo and served with a simple salsa which worked a dream!

it’s juicy and spicy but could do with a bit less water. Feels like it’s missing something but can’t tell what!

Very delicious, but 12 thighs for 6 portions was way too much so I only made 6 thighs. The water to chicken ratio was too much and it ended up watery (still tasty though). Now will cook some rice in the liquid for chipotle rice

Hi Sharmila! Thanks for giving this one a go, glad to hear you thought it was tasty. If you're left with a bit more liquid than you'd like at the end of the 25 mins in step 3 then you can absolutely leave it going for a bit longer to thicken!

This was delicious and definitely worth the time it takes to make, have portions of it in the freezer and can’t wait to eat it again soon!!

Very tasty. However, if using Gran Luchito chipotle paste, reduce the amount unless you like it high on spice
