Highly recommend. A favourite with all the family. As with all recipes, it’s made easier by measuring ingredients out beforehand. I made my own BBQ seasoning with 1/2 a tsp each of paprika, garlic powder, chilli powder, cayenne and onion salt, I made a batch to make it quicker next time. The beef is so flavoursome and juicy but not runny. Love love love!

made this today, came out looking so good. Love healthier recipes that still use real fats and not alternatives !

Wow! This one will deffo help me hit my protein goal whilst staying in a deficit. I was stuffed afterwards. I served mine with a small amount of homemade wedges and side salad but it’s enough on its own.

Looking forward to making this! I'm in the U.S. and here passata and puree are interchangeable. What's the difference in this recipe?

Hey Jen! Passata is tomatoes that have been pureed and strained, so the texture is looser, like a sauce. Puree has been cooked down into a concentrated paste x

Loved this dish, but it's not entirely clear from the recipe what to do with the garlic and the butter. I decided to finely chop the garlic and melted the butter, then combined them with the herbs before brushing onto the buns.

Thanks Euan. That's exactly right – we've edited the recipe to make it clearer
