Have to admit, I was sceptical about this one. But it was great. Left salt out of the sauce and my baby was loving it, while my - at the moment - picky 4 year old was literally licking his plate

Loved this. Didn't have courgettes so used red cabbage instead, since I assume most veggies would work in this, and I was right. Took a hand blender to the sauce at the end to make it smoother. My 5 year old did say it was a bit spicy for her, even though I used mild curry seasoning, so next time I will try a different, even milder curry powder. But this will definitely become a regular meal in out household!
I recommend an electric chopper for those of you who don't have it. Makes recipes like these so much easier.
We do love our sauce, so it didn't feel like too much sauce for us, unlike some of the comments here say. But I did let it simmer down for quite a while.

Huge success for our 9 year old, and a great way to sneak in some healthy veggies :)

Delicious - my two year old was a big fan. However, this is definitely not a 25 minute recipe when chopping is factored in

Delicious! My youngest found it a little spicy but we used medium curry powder as I didn't have mild, and it did have a little bit of a kick! As a previous commenter said, we had lots of sauce left over! I made a 2 person portion and it made 750ml of sauce! As and adult and 2 children we used up 250ml, fab to have extra to pop in the freezer though.

really lovely recipe but I found it made a lot of sauce and too much rice for the quantities needed. 4 portions of sauce made 8 portions for us. Bonus though as we have a stash in the freezer!

Hey Emma! So pleased you enjoyed this one and great you had enough for leftovers in the freezer. We'll take another look at those quantities :)

This was delicious! Really tasty and flavourful. It felt nice and healthy and the fish fingers were an amazing accompaniment! We used the battered jumbo fingers and they worked really well! My wee boy loved this too!
