Step 1.

Preheat oven to 180°C/356°F.

Step 2.

Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each asparagus spear. Line on a rack and place in oven for 15 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.

Step 3.

Place your eggs in a pan of boiling water for 5 minutes.

Step 4.

Assembly time. Place eggs in cups. Lie asparagus on a plate. Grate Parmesan over the asparagus and squeeze over some lemon juice.

Step 5.

Chop off the tops of the eggs, dunk in your dippers and enjoy!

Using smoked streaky bacon is key.

30g Parmesan
1 Lemon
