Ok I guess. I had to add garlic, miso and a couple of dried porcini mushrooms to the sauce to give it a bit more oomph as without that the sauce was quite bland. Maybe because I used reduced fat coconut milk? I'm not sure. I also added some edamame beans, shallot and spring onion because otherwise there's not really any veg (would have added more but didn't have anything else in the fridge). It was easy to make and my partner liked it a lot, I thought it was fine.

This was incredibly tasty and flavoursome. I used good quality sausages, seasoned the dish well & only used the listed ingredients. I will definitely be making this again as it's quick for mid-week and I like others comments that it reheats well for lunch portions too.

I’m so confused by the range of results from these comments - I made this and it turned out so well! it’s a shame that this didn’t work out for others, I can’t understand why.

Made this recipe a couple of times now and it’s so delish. Only added some veggies and splash of soy sauce, so flavourful!

this was delicious, I added mushrooms, broccoli, green beans and mange tout as has no veg. made extra to box up for work lunches and reheats well.

really nice, I read the reviews too and decided to reduce the broth down all the way with the noodles in so it was sauce like. added soy sauce, a little bit of brown sugar and some garlic & sesame oil

it's tricky to rate this as I took the advice in the other comments and added extra flavour. I added some honey and soy sauce to the sausage meat and that worked well. the noodles were so bland, so I tried adding fish sauce and extra lime but it didn't really help. also added broccoli on the side as zero veg in it.

This is good but didn’t have that much flavour, definitely add more chilli and soy sauce. I also added a runny egg for flavour depth and some additional veggies such as mushrooms, spring onions, pak choi and sugar snaps to add more nutrition

One of your favourite midweek dishes - especially as you can get everything in Aldi! Absolutely delicious, so fresh with the herbs, and really great for reheating for lunch the next day!

essentially flavourless sadly!!! we added fish sauce, garlic, sugar , chicken bullion concentrate....and that made it better but still could have had a lot more flavour

Hey there, thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear this didn't hit the spot for you! You could always up the chilli or ginger next time for a bit more of a kick.

Truthfully, I wouldn’t waste your time making this. Every other recipe we have made on this app has been fabulous - this one however needs major tweaking.

100% agree, made this last night and it was completely flavourless.

sadly my tumeric pot fell in which made this a bit medicinal and the pork mince didn’t crisp up but it was almost lovely. added blanched sugar snaps to the herb leaves. whole can half fat coconut milk and less water.

Surprisingly devine - wasn’t sure it would have much flavour but in true MOB style, it was perfect.

my kids loved this recipe. i swapped minced pork for saysagemeat and added a dash of soy sauce to caramelise the meat. Added oak choi to the broth as there is a lack of veg.

Little trick, I've found after breaking the sausage up in the pan, chuck it in the air fryer at about 180c for five mins to give it a nice caramelisation and you can get to work on the other stuff straight away. A little soy sauce gives it a nice depth too. Will be making again

Made this with rice noodles because my daughter is celiac, and they sucked up all the liquid making the noodles very tasty but there was zero sauce left for serving with. Added loads of veg to serve on the side and also a splash each of soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and honey, to give it more oomph. Will try it again with pork mince rather than sausage meat next time. Tasty dish and something different to our usual routine but I wasn’t blown away.

This was surprisingly good! The mint and coriander make the dish. I added snow peas and part of a bag salad of kale and spinach so that there was a bit of crunch and some vegetables. Definitely needs something crunchy, but in saying that my pork wasn’t crispy because I used stir fry strips.

Surprised by this dish, not normally something I would go for, but I'll be definitely making this again. The fresh mint and coriander really made this dish. Even my fussy husband loved it!

Loved the recipe but did notice there weren’t any vegetables too late - I would add some tender stem broccoli next time
