Crispy Lamb Gnocchi
This is an easy gnocchi recipe with some serious brunt. Rich lamb, fragrant mint, and a hint of sweetness from pomegranate molasses? It's good. It's damn good.

I enjoyed this. it was very rich. I added some spinach & served with some natural yoghurt, which cut through the richness. I think a squeeze of lemon would work as well. it was the first time I’ve crisped lamb mince up like that & it worked so well in the dish. I think frying the gnocchi would provide a nice texture as well.

easy to cook though I added courgette, aubergine and peas to add more veg. not sure who keeps pomegranate molasses, will need to get this for the pantry! 😂

would recommend cooking the gnocchi in stock and using that to make the sauce as it adds flavour whilst thickening the mix from starch.

Noted previous comments and added lamb stock then reduced until thick so it was lovely and saucy. Tasty meal, would be nice with some wilted spinach and crumbled feta added.

I really liked this dish! Next time I will add green peas to get more color and even more protein.

really liked it but added beef stock, red wine then reduced it as felt like the sauce wouldn’t have much body without it

Great combination!! I used balsamic vinegar & agave instead of the pomegranate molasses. Little tip for those who don’t like the gamey taste of lamb like me : marinate the lamb in a bit of turmeric a few hours prior

Hi Maria! Sorry you thought it was dry. Next time you can add a bit more gnocchi water to the onion mixture to make it saucier. Hope it's better next time :)

6/10 for this one. A bit dry but tasty enough, maybe because I couldn’t get pomegranate molasses! Alternative ingredient suggestions for more unusual items would help?

you can sometimes substitute with a mixure of honey and lemon/pomegranate juice to make a tart and sweet sauce - it just won't be as rich and flavoursome as the molasses.

This was gorgeous! I hate washing up so cooked it all in one pan and added a little less spice as I’m a wuss 😂 and it was so tasty. I wish I’d added more mint but I’ll know for next time!
