Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve eaten. The sumac onions are the perfect finishing touch on this dish!

This was so good. I found this Lebanese goat yoghurt, similar to kefir or ayran, at a little Lebanese bakery/grocery store. I used that instead of the kefir and it fit the dish perfectly

Amazing dish! I used parseley instead of coriander (my friend is not about coriander) worked really well.

Very tasty and herby. I omitted the kefir and swapped chicken broth for beef as I didn’t have it. Was very yummy and the texture of the crispy lamb goes great with the broth. do not skip the sumac onions!

Delicious! Everything works really well together and it holds up well over a couple of days for leftovers too

Didn't try this one but just noting it's tagged as veggie and shouldn't be!

I was a little dubious when making this that it would all come together and make a meal, but it was very nice and everyone enjoyed it. I will make again.
