If you use an oven it takes like twice as long for the gnocchi to crisp up. Otherwise fairly easy to prep and tasty!

May be worth adding a note in the introduction that this dish does not reheat well at all. Eat fresh only - pretty stodgy, chewy and difficult to swallow if made ahead.

Quick and tasty! As others have said do add more water and therefore seasoning as required, as can get claggy once cheese is added.

I liked it but if I made it again I’d add more water or some stock to make it saucier as the air fried gnocchi with a thick sauce was quite dry

with the cheese it came out more sticky but I’m sure if I added more water it would have been creamier. Still delicious!!

Air frying gnocchi is a mistake and cheese and chicken should never be put together

I know this will be annoying but can I substitute the cheese for something else to thicken the sauce?

Cornflour (cornstarch) or flour, but it won't improve the taste, as cheese does.

Single cream would work I'd imagine. I'm dairy free so will try with a vegan cheese alternative.

So tasty. Will definitely make again. Easy to cook. Slightly time consuming, I like to get the gnocchi super crispy so takes time but it's definitely worth it.

I didn't have parsley so used some fresh tarragon and that worked so well too. Love this dish.

Hi Liz! Without an airfryer you can either pan-fry the gnocchi in a little oil over medium-high heat for 10–15 mins until golden or pop it in the oven at 200°C (fan) for about 20–25 mins, giving it a shake halfway through. Then just carry on with the rest of the recipe as normal.
