Really nice flavour but the beef turned out really tough despite cooking it for 3.5 hours :( should I cook it for even longer, can I salvage this?

Hey Katie! Thanks for giving this one a go, sorry to hear that the beef is still pretty tough! It could be because of the cut you used, the best cuts to use for this kind of recipe are chuck, blade, leg, shin, skirt, and flank. If you use something like sirloin it will probably get quite tough as it's a leaner cut!

I've made loads of different chillies and this is the best I've made yet. I used 85% cocoa chocolate and it was perfect.

Really good recipe, except there was far too much dark chocolate (even though I love dark chocolate). Will make again but will likely half the amount of chocolate to not make it too overpowering

Really nice chilli! The chocolate was a bit much though and in my opinion overpowered the other flavours - next time I will add a little bit of the chocolate at a time to taste.
