Do you finely slice all of the onions, or finely slice the pickled onion and cut the rest of the onion in to wedges??

Hi Amy! Finely slice all the red onions, then pickle half of them and add the rest to the air fryer with the chicken.

Do you put the chicken pieces on skewers?

Hi Amy. There's no need to use skewers as the chicken pieces will be secure in the air fryer, unlike on a BBQ when they need holding together. If you still want to use them, skewer on the chicken at the end of step 2. Make sure the skewers fit inside your air fryer basket without touching the sides or heating elements, and soak them in water first to prevent burning.

Didn’t feel like rice so put all of it on a flatbread with some lettuce instead like a kebab and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely make again!

I’ve made this a few times and it always turns out perfectly. I sometimes add some chunks of red pepper to the skewers if I have one to use up.

One my favorite recipes. I guess you can see by now I am the no 1 fan of Jodie's cooking. It’s simply because everything is full of flavors and you can follow the recipes blindly without having to tweak a thing. Adding the onions to the rice was brilliant move. I now always do this when I cook basmati rice.
