This was way quicker and easier than I expected, I used passata to replace one tin of tomatoes and will probably grate in some carrot/courgette to the sauce to boost the veg content next time, but SO good! Definitely one I'll repeat

Agreed! I also added a bit of balsamic vinegar in the tomato sauce to cut the slightly acidic taste of tomatoes.

I doubled the quantity to four and instead of using two cans of beans I added some gnocchi which worked really well for the members of my family who are less fanatic about beans. My local shop didn’t have any ricotta so used mozzarella and put it under the grill which was also delicious!
