Delicious! I make these twice a week for us as a family. I now don't add the maple syrup or sugar as find them sweet enough by using a pink lady apple.

Hello delicious but isn’t the sugar content and calories high per serve ?

Hi Elizabeth! Glad to hear you love this. There’s a bit of sweetness in this one for sure, mainly from the apple, maple & a sprinkle of brown sugar in the crumble. But it’s all about balance, you’re also getting loads of protein, fibre & slow-release carbs. You can always dial back the maple if you'd like to reduce the sugar levels :)

Unreal recipe! I added 10g raisins to the bottom layer (didn't put the maple syrup in as the raisins are an extra boost of sweetness!). Thanks guys!

450g for the yoghurt topping seems pretty excess... is that right? Seems like way too much for just the topping

Yep that's right. Split between the 4 portions it add a load of creaminess and heaps more protein

Does the crumble part get baked at all for crispiness?

Hi Rebecca! The oats aren't bake in this recipe, they're more of a soft oaty topping. But you could bake them in the oven at 170°C for about 10 mins until golden and crunchy if you like.
