Brother and Sister duo, Cash and Chloe Tao, founded Salt and Pepper Manchester after devoting themselves to modernising traditional Asian food through one dish - Salt & Pepper Squid. Having grown up working in their parents' Chinese takeaway, food has been central since day one. At their own restaurant, they’ve taken old family recipes from their dad and granddad and added a modern twist to them.

Cash and Chloe noticed that in their generation of British-born Chinese kids, not many were going into food anymore. They didn’t want that tradition to die out, so they started Salt and Pepper MCR, bringing fresh and modern Chinese food to Manchester. In this episode of Street MOB, Cash and Chloe show us how to create their most popular dish - Sticky Chicken. This is a crispy chicken tossed in garlic, chilli and homemade sauce, served with salt and pepper chips or rice and pickled slaw. Sublime.

Devoted to serving up tasty, wholesome, and fresh dishes, Cash and Chloe have elevated the traditional Chinese Takeaway experience. Salt & Pepper is supplying the streets of Manchester with quick, cheap and delicious food to leave you satisfied and happy. Find them on the south side of Arndale Market. You’re welcome.
